Down’s Syndrome Association The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) is the only charity in the UK dealing with all aspects of Down’s syndrome. Its aim is to help people with Down’s syndrome live full and rewarding lives.

Workfit WorkFit is an employment initiative designed to bridge the gap between employers and employees with Down’s syndrome.

Langdon Down Museum The Langdon Down Museum of Learning Disability is dedicated to history of Dr John Langdon Down and Normansfield. It contributes to the public understanding of learning disability.

Langdon Down Centre The Langdon Down Centre includes the Normansfield Theatre and Conferencing Facilities. The building houses a beautiful Grade II* Victorian theatre built for the development and therapy of people with learning disabilities. The theatre and conference rooms can be hired for events, film productions and photo shoots. The theatre events programme includes opera, concerts and drama.

DSActive DSActive provides children and young adults with Down’s syndrome an opportunity to get involved in sports with an emphasis on football. http://www.dsactive.org

Shifting Perspectives Over 8 years the Shifting Perspectives photography project has explored many different themes: birth, every day family life, relationships, culture and religion. The work is about more than just disability. It depicts people with Down’s syndrome as individuals, showing that they have dreams, aspirations, wants, needs, likes and dislikes, just like anyone else.
